Actually there is nothing that really has to be installed. The only thing you have to do is to unpack the file you downloaded. This will create a new folder named "hssTVS". In there you'll find the executable "nserver" with a sample configuration file, a "readme.txt" that might contain some cruical information and this manual in another folder named "manual". That's it.

Sorry, in case you want it to start automatically, or want to use the RedHat service command and the like, you have to write those scripts by yourself. You'd also have to register it for the appropriate runlevels manually. Since 230e hssTVS does write a pidfile /var/run/hsstvs.pid, so it can be killed with
kill `cat /var/run/hsstvs.pid`

I don't plan to make someting like rpm files for specific distros. I don't have enough time as it is, without all the additional work that'll produce. Perhaps, once I hit a stable past beta version, I'll provide some.
